Community Artists:
El Rio Stepping Stone Project
The Heart of El Rio Organization (HERO) invites community members to contribute to a public art installation creating space for healing, belonging, and pride in El Rio.
Rooted under the “You Are Loved” mural on Rose Avenue near Simon Way, this project is a reminder that you are loved by this community, and that our town is made up of many stories, cultures, and ways of showing up for one another.
Here's how it works:

Sign up with your contact information so we can notify you if you are selected.

Submit a simple sketch or idea for your stepping stone.

HERO will curate stories and experiences that reflect the diversity of El Rio—selections are not based on artistic skill.
If selected, pick up your stepping stone and all materials at the HeART & Mind Wellness Fair on Saturday, March 21, from 11 AM–3 PM at Rio Plaza School 600 Simon Way, El Rio. You will have about two weeks to complete your stone and return them.
