Our next neighborhood clean-up will take place along North Rose Avenue, starting at Rio Del Valle Middle School. This busy road collects a lot of litter, and with everyone’s help, we can make a visible difference in just a couple of hours!
During the event, the County of Ventura will host a community pop-up to share information and answer questions about local services available to El Rio residents. This is a great opportunity to connect directly with our county representatives, learn more about what resources are out there, and discuss the needs of our neighborhood.
We especially encourage students interested in government, leadership, or public service to stop by and ask questions. It’s a chance to see how approachable and connected local officials can be — and to understand how everyday residents can have a voice in shaping their community.
